Donald has been in the whisky industry for over 50 years.

Starting in 1964, he learned his craft buying and selling casks of fine whisky.  His journey through the years enabled him to hone his skills, nosing and tasting whiskies old and young, constantly fine tuning his knowledge and judgement, finally making Donald a true expert in his field.

As a well respected figure in the world of whisky, he was made a Keeper of the Quaich in 1998, an honour bestowed upon those working to promote the good name of Scotch whisky and in recognition of their achievements.

Andrew Hart

Director

Andrew grew up in a whisky business environment and had whisky “in his blood”. Hungry for knowledge, he gained experience at Springbank Distillery.

Constantly learning from his father Donald, and with the same high principles of the pursuit of excellence, Andrew found his niche.

The roll of Brand Ambassador has grown for Andrew, who is now involved in all aspects of the business, from marketing and promotion, to cask selection, Andrew now travels extensively hosting tastings and opening up the world of whisky for those keen to experience the delights of our national drink.

In 2013 Andrew was rewarded for his hard work in the whisky industry and is now a proud member of the elite whisky society “The Keepers of the Quaich”.

Perhaps the next brand ambassador, he will have a lot to learn. As third generation of this family we hope he embraces the wonderful world of whisky, and continues the good work of his father and grandfather.

The newest member of the Hart Clan. Finlay is already showing a great eye for detail in bright and bold packaging, so who knows, possibly a role in design and marketing in a few years at Meadowside HQ.
